A program called Bridge Da Gap is using hip-hop music to teach students about positive attitude and behavior. The program, which has been piloted at two Atlanta-area schools, includes 19 lessons on topics such as anger management, self-determination and how to avoid peer pressure. “We are trying to give them tools to work with so that despite the obstacles they meet in life, they can reach their goals,” one of the program’s creators said.
