National Travel and Tourism Week will be celebrated May 7-15, 2011. (I know this a few months away but if I don’t post this now I may forget!) As a project have students develop a marketing campaign to promote National Travel and Tourism Week. The U.S. Travel Association has great information and resources related to travel and tourism in the United States.
