New CTE Teachers Conference
The New CTE Teachers Conference is scheduled for October 23-25, 2011 in Austin, Texas.
This is an opportunity to learn proven strategies for CTE, meet TEA’s CTE Directors,
ask questions, and share ideas with other CTE educators from across the state.
Conference sessions will include 16 Career Clusters breakouts, CTE TEKS, career
development and career preparation, working with special populations,
strategies for teaching today’s students…and more!
New CTE teachers also will gain valuable resources and connections by networking
with representatives from Texas CTE professional associations and career and
technical student organizations (CTSOs).
