2010 NEW CTE TEACHER CONFERENCE

Register NOW for the TEA statewide professional development conference for first and second year career and technical education teachers!

November 1-2, 2010, Crowne Plaza Austin Hotel, Austin, Texas

 Don’t miss this opportunity to learn proven strategies for career and technical education, meet TEA’s career and technical education (CTE) directors, ask questions, and share ideas with other CTE educators from across the state.

 Conference topics will include the 16 career clusters; CTE curriculum resources; preparing students for high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand careers; working with special populations; and strategies for teaching today’s students.

 New CTE teachers also will gain valuable resources and connections by networking with representatives from Texas career and technical student organizations (CTSOs).

 Register by October 1st to get a discounted early-bird registration rate of $50 and $85/night hotel rate. Standard rates are $75 conference fee and $115/night hotel rate.
